DINING

Residents gather to feast in our central dining area, enjoying three fresh, chef-prepared meals which are included.  Daily entrée options are offered to appeal to a variety of palettes.  While Lodge Lane is not a kosher facility, those looking to keep a kosher diet are offered a menu of the meal prepared and served from our kosher kitchen at Kutz Rehabilitation & Nursing.  Our 24-hour café is supplied with snacks for those looking to nosh or to warm up with a cup of coffee or tea.

Residents meet as a food committee monthly providing menu feedback or food item requests to the Executive Chef.  Meanwhile, the upscale menus for monthly birthday celebrations and holiday meals leave residents and guests coming back for more. 

 

A registered dietitian oversees the menu development to ensure a well-balanced meal is always being offered.  The dietician is also available to meet with residents and family members to review diet as it relates to diagnoses or medications, as well as a discussion around healthy food choices to improve the overall quality of life.
